Rebuilding LA
The recent wildfires have left an indelible mark on Southern California, and our hearts go out to everyone impacted by this tragedy. At ReMo Homes, an LA-based company supported by a grant from the California Energy Commission, we understand that the journey to rebuilding can feel overwhelming — but you are not alone.
We are committed to helping individuals and families recover by providing sustainable, resilient housing solutions tailored to your needs. Over the past three years, we've dedicated ourselves to designing and prototyping homes that are more efficient, durable, and cost-effective. Our team is working to streamline the rebuilding process, helping affected homeowners rebuild faster and smarter with homes designed to stand up to future challenges.
To make rebuilding safer and more resilient, we’re integrating best practices from the California Wildfire Rebuilding Guide, developed by USGBC-CA. Our homes feature a high-performance envelope that meets key recommendations — including Class A fire-rated roofing, non-combustible exterior walls, ember- and flame-resistant vents and screens, and dual-pane tempered glass windows. These features are critical for withstanding flying embers, extreme heat, and other wildfire risks, while also improving energy efficiency and durability.
If you’ve been directly affected and are exploring options for rebuilding, we’re here to help. Whether you need guidance on where to start or want to learn more about next-generation housing solutions, please feel free to reach out to us.
To everyone impacted, we extend our deepest sympathies. The road to recovery isn’t easy, but as a community, we’ll rebuild stronger.
